Update Notes for Highstage Q4 2019 (SW10055-8)

Background

The purpose of this document is to inform Highstage administrators about changes to Highstage. The following changes to the Highstage software are divided into the categories of [Added], [Improved], and [Fixed].

[Added] represent a new function or feature in Highstage.

[Improved] represents an existing function or feature which has been subjected to changes.

[Fixed] represents an existing function or feature where a reported issue has been resolved.

Important remarks regarding this update

Due to the large scope of this update, it is recommended that you conduct a thorough testing of this Highstage version before updating your server. The full scope of features and functionality are presented in the changelog.

Similarly, multiple changes have been made to the Highstage user interface, so CSS classes and their structure have been changed to accommodate these changes.

Documentation are also more extensive then previously published, due to focus on the area. All documentation articles can be found on turbostage.net by navigating to SYSTEM > Help and Setup > Highstage Documentation.

INTERNET EXPLORER IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED As previously published, we will no longer develop functions for Internet explorer. This is due to IE being deprecated and not being updated by Microsoft anymore. IE is no longer a secure browser and it should only be used to access places which no other browsers can. Therefore new functions such as freeze header or Highstage in 1 frame might encounter inconsistent behavior if Internet Explorer is used as your default browser.
